21 Days of Prayer & Fasting

During the month of January we set aside 21 days for a special time of prayer and fasting. This dedicated season of prayer provides an opportunity for our church family to gather, as one united voice and seek God’s wisdom and direction for the new year. We would love to have you join us as we pray for our nation, city, families and homes.

During this season of prayer, we seek the Lord in these areas:

• Believing God for answered prayer and direction for specific needs

• Declaring our dependence on God in every area of our lives

• Praying for the completion of the Great Commission

• Inviting the Presence of God in our church and our lives

• Crying out to God for revival in our generation

Corporate Prayer Opportunities: (January 10th – January 30th )

Mondays through Saturdays 7:00am to 8:00am

ISAIAH 61:4-7 TLB And they shall rebuild the ancient ruins, repairing cities long ago destroyed, reviving them though they have lain there many generations. Foreigners shall be your servants; they shall feed your flocks and plow your fields and tend your vineyards. You shall be called priests of the Lord, ministers of our God. You shall be fed with the treasures of the nations and shall glory in their riches. Instead of shame and dishonor, you shall have a double portion of prosperity and everlasting joy.

Sunday – Our Hearts
Josh. 22:5b NLT …love the Lord your God, walk in all His ways, obey His commands, be faithful to Him, and serve Him with all your heart and all your soul. 2 Chronicles 16:9a NIV For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to Him. Declare your complete dependence on God. Draw near to Him and be willing to change and adjust anything that He asks of you. Ask for a renewed passion for His presence and fresh revelation from His Word.

Monday – Our Purpose

Colossians 1:28 – 29 NIV We proclaim Him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ. To this end I strenuously contend with all the energy Christ so powerfully works in me.
Our purpose is the Great Commission. Pray for people to be saved, connected in the local church, disciple and fulfilled in their ministry.

Tuesday – Our Nation, State and City

1Tim. 2:1 – 4 I urge, them, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people – for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all men to be saved and to come to knowledge of the truth.

Pray for our nation and leaders. Specifically pray for the President, the House, the Senate and the Supreme Court Justices. Pray for Florida, for the Governor, the state legislature, court system and all the schools. Pray for South Florida, Greenacres, Lake Worth and surrounding towns and cities. Pray for our city officials and first responders.

Wednesday – Our Points of Passion

Matt. 9:37 – 38 NIV Then He said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”
Pray for our missionaries: Aleka Dragotas as she ministers to the Jews, John Smithwick Ministries and also for Rod Baker and his ministry in Haiti. Pray for laborers to reach the unchurched, the destitute and the hopeless.

Thursday – Our Family

Acts 16: 31 – 32 NIV They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved – you and your household.” Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all the others in his house.
Pray for restoration in your family (including your spouse, children, grandchildren, grandparents, parents, brothers and sisters, aunts and uncles, cousins, etc.) Pray that all of your family (extended and immediate) will know and walk with God, fully pleasing Him in everything. Pray for peace, joy and prosperity in your home.

Friday – Our Needs

Philippians 4:6 – 7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God, and the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your heart and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Believe God for abundance in every area. Pray specifically for wisdom concerning His plan for increase in your life and for your family. Declare health, healing, prosperity and increase over yourself and your household.

Saturday – Our Church

Colossians 1:10 AMP That you may walk (live and conduct yourselves) in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to Him and desiring to please Him in all things, bearing fruit in every good work and steadily growing and increasing in and by the knowledge of God (with fuller, deeper and clearer insight, acquaintance and recognition).
Pray for Faith Family Church to fulfill God’s plan for 2016. Pray for Pastor Mike and his family, along with the other staff members, life group leaders, and those who serve at FFC. Pray that every child, young person and adult will passionately pursue a deeper relationship with Jesus and grow in their walk with Him steadily throughout the year.
